A 3-day, 2-night, 30 mile backpacking trip on the north side of Mount Adams in the southern Washington Cascades.
Starting at the Potato Hill PCT Trailhead south of Packwood, Washington.
Maximum Elevation: XXXX feet. Total cumulative elevation gain: XXXX feet.
One of the first interesting sights we come across on the trail is Lava Spring. The trail is steadily gaining elevation.

After 6 miles, we reach Foggy Flat, our "base camp" for the weekend.
Not a bad view from the tent.
After dinner, Tabor quickly decided that he was cold, and it was time for bed.
